Pre-Beta Preview of our Paperless system
A few months ago we started a major undertaking for a local business here in Moultrie. We were contracted to build a document/customer management system to help move them from the space and time consuming filing system to a lean and efficient paperless system. This was a great undertaking and We are very close to releasing the product to them. One of the great things about this system over other "box item" systems is that it is custom built to the way they do business instead of them having to change their style to accommodate another system.
Some halmarks about the system:
- It is web based. That means that nothing has to be installed on each users system. It is not however Internet accessible. This is by design due to the nature of their business.
- Any standard scanning equipment can work with it. This is a big deal. The system is made in such a way that as long as the scanner can scan to file in pdf format it will work.
- It is cheaper than the competition. Its cost to the client is several thousand dollars less than similar systems. This is because it is designed for this client in mind and it does not have a lot of "bells and whistles" that the client would not use anyway.
- It is easy to use. Because it is web based it is as simple as browsing a website to manage. I would consider the learning curve close to that of Gmail or facebook.
